Drilling a bole is no longer the simple operation it used to be. The wide range of modern industrial materials, ranging from softwoods through metallic alloys to advanced engineering polymers, bas brought skill to the drilling operation.
The skill lies in choosing the right Drill for the application.
Ingersoll-Rand offers a range of more than 70 models, to cover the full spectrum of drilling applications.

Large Drill
The lngersoll-Rand's line of Large Drills, in straight and angle configurations, is the ideal choice for those super-duty applications.
Available in reversible and non-reversible units from 1.0 to 4.7 kW (1.4 to 6.25 HP), with a variety of attachments, these Drills are ideal for opening and closing large valves and for drilling large diameter holes.

Small Production Drills
There you can make your selection from a wide range of small Production Drills, in pistol, straight and angle configurations, and with power ratings ranging from 0.14 to 0.38 kW (0.2 to 0.51 HP). Pistol grip models feature Ingersoll-Rand's new 'Skinsulate' comfort-coating, for increased operator comfort and productivity. Also available is a line of hand-held power Tappers, available with either ¼" or ½" chuck and up to 0.37 kW (0.5 HP) to take the strain out of those heavy duty tap
ping applications.

Compact size and excellent power-to-weight ratios distinguish the Ingersoll-Rand line of Air Drills for production and maintenance applications. Choose from four different series, with models suited to various levels of precision and capacity. They include pistol-grip, straight and angle configurations, along with Tappers and specific accessories.

Ingersoll-Rand Drills for production applications share many key features. Variable throttle control permits slow speed starting to protect the workpiece, along with high speed running for fast completion. Grip area size and shape on all Ingersoll-Rand Production Drills reflects ergonomic considerations for improved user comfort and control.

All pistol-grip configuration Production Drills also feature the new Skinsulate surface on grip areas, which further enhances productivity by providing insulation for the skin against cold metal, and by reducing the effects of vibration. The Skinsulate coating increases adhesion, while reducing grip force requirements, a perfect complement to the precision performance of Ingersoll-Rand Production Drills.

Whatever the need, Ingersoll?Rand can respond with a high performance Drill perfectly matched to your application.
